Most cladding systems require something after they leave the factory: painting, sealing, or treating. Cemintel’s Prefinished Series doesn’t. These are factory-finished fibre cement panels that arrive on site with a complete, durable surface coating applied under controlled conditions. What goes up is what stays up.

BAL40 rated

The Cemintel wall system can achieve BAL40 when installed in accordance with Australian Standard AS3959 — among the highest bushfire resistance ratings in the prefinished cladding category.

What is the Cemintel Prefinished Series?

The Cemintel Prefinished Series includes three factory-finished fibre cement cladding systems: Barestone® (raw concrete aesthetic), Territory (natural material textures, including stone and timber) and Surround (a curated colour palette). All three use factory-applied coatings and arrive on site ready to install without on-site painting. ExpressPanel® is a fourth option for projects requiring custom site-applied colour.

Is Cemintel non-combustible?

Yes. Cemintel products are compressed fibre cement, non-combustible and suitable for use in NCC external wall cladding applications. The Barestone® wall system can achieve Bushfire Attack Level BAL40 when installed in accordance with AS3959 and Cemintel’s design and installation guides.

Can Cemintel products be used on commercial buildings?

Yes. Cemintel’s commercial facade range uses the ExpressWall® top hat system to create a Pressure Equalised Ventilated Cavity (PEVC) system suitable for commercial buildings of all classifications. The system is widely specified on office buildings, multi-residential developments, schools and healthcare facilities.
