The Brick Look, Without Laying a Single Course
Brick has been part of Australian building culture since the first permanent structures were built here. It carries associations of solidity, permanence and neighbourhood character that few materials can replicate. It’s also structurally demanding, thermally heavyweight and, when the brief calls for the aesthetic rather than the structural system, an expensive way to achieve what is fundamentally a surface quality.
Territory™ Brick delivers the brick aesthetic in a prefinished fibre cement panel. The brick pattern, slightly smaller than a standard Australian brick, giving it a distinctive and deliberately considered look, is pressed into the panel during manufacturing. Four finishes cover the full range of brick aesthetic directions: from the sleek minimalism of Black Modern through the classic rustic warmth of Red Rustic to the Scandi lightness of White Rustic. A smarter choice, as Cemintel puts it directly.

The Territory™ Brick Range
Territory™ Brick is available in four finishes, two surface textures (smooth modern, rough rustic) across four colour directions. The brick pattern size is slightly smaller than a standard Australian brick, creating a unique appearance that reads as brick without being a direct replica.
Where Territory™ Brick Works
Townhouses and medium density
Territory™ Brick is specifically suited to townhouses and medium-density residential projects as a feature wall element, the prefinished brick aesthetic at the building entry, on the street-facing facade or on the garage wall brings character without the structural requirements of actual brickwork.
Commercial and retail feature facades
Ground-floor retail facades, cafe and restaurant entries, and boutique commercial buildings with brick texture create approachability and character that corporate cladding systems don’t. Territory™ Brick achieves this in a lightweight, prefinished panel that installs far faster than laying courses.
Feature walls — inside and out
Territory™ Brick is suitable for internal feature wall applications as well as external facades. Red Rustic on an internal feature wall creates the warehouse conversion aesthetic; White Rustic on an external wall achieves the coastal limewash look. Both are installed with the same system, the same fixings and no on-site painting.
Re-cladding and renovation
Where an existing building needs a facade update and the brief calls for a character material, Territory™ Brick provides a way to achieve a brick aesthetic over an existing substrate, without demolition, without structural changes and without the programme impact of actual brickwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Territory™ Brick installed horizontally only?
The brick pattern on Territory™ Brick must be oriented horizontally for the pattern to read as brick courses, bricks run horizontally by definition, and rotating the panel would make the pattern read as a vertical stack bond, which is a different (and less common) aesthetic. Unlike the Woodlands and Quarry products that can be installed either way, Brick’s orientation is fixed to the horizontal to maintain the correct visual outcome.
Is Territory™ Brick suitable for use in bushfire-prone areas?
Yes. The Territory™ wall system achieves Bushfire Attack Level BAL40 when installed in accordance with AS3959 and Cemintel’s design and installation guides, this applies to all Territory™ products including Brick. The non-combustible fibre cement substrate means Territory™ Brick panels don’t contribute to fire spread and comply with NCC requirements for non-combustible external wall cladding.
Is the brick pattern the same size as a standard Australian brick?
No, Territory™ Brick uses a pattern slightly smaller than a standard Australian brick. This is a deliberate design decision that gives the product a distinctive appearance rather than a direct replica of standard brickwork. The smaller scale also means the joint pattern reads more finely across large wall areas than standard brick would.
Can Territory™ Brick be used with other Cemintel Territory™ or Barestone® products on the same building?
Yes. The Territory™ proprietary clip-fix system is compatible across all Territory™ products (Woodlands, Quarry, Brick and Ridge) and with Cemintel Barestone® and Surround cladding. Combining Territory™ Brick with Quarry Concrete for a brick-and-concrete facade composition, or with a Woodlands timber finish for a brick-and-timber aesthetic, is straightforward within the single Territory™ installation system.
