The Timber Facade That Holds Its Colour for Decades
Timber wall cladding and composite decking have always made an awkward pair on the same project. The deck weathers. The cladding does something different. Two years in, the colours no longer match. Five years in, the cladding needs repainting, and the deck doesn’t. The material palette that looked cohesive at handover starts to read as two separate decisions that don’t quite belong together.

The Castellated Profile - What It Does
Structural rigidity
The stepped cross-section distributes load more effectively than a flat board of equivalent thickness, contributing to the board's dimensional stability under wind loading and temperature cycling.
Shadow line depth
At 33mm, the castellated profile casts a strong, defined shadow line across the wall surface. The depth and quality of this shadow change with the light angle; the facade never looks the same way twice.
Natural drainage
Water doesn't sit on the castellated surface; the profile geometry directs moisture away from the wall face, reducing moisture accumulation and contributing to long-term surface appearance.
Consistent end-to-end
Unlike natural timber, where matching board profiles and grain across a large facade is a procurement challenge, EvoClad™ boards are manufactured consistently; every board looks like every other board, every batch.
Sustainability Credentials
Up to 95% recycled content
The WPC core is manufactured using recycled hardwood fibre and high-density polymer. The recycled content is consistent across all EvoClad™ boards, not a variable figure dependent on batch or supply availability.
Global GreenTag Certified
EvoClad™ carries Global GreenTag certification, independently assessed sustainability credentials that support Green Star documentation and LEED materials credits for projects with formal sustainability targets.
CodeMark certified
Independent certification that EvoClad™ meets NCC requirements, giving specifiers documentary evidence of compliance rather than relying on manufacturer performance claims alone.
No timber from native forests
The recycled hardwood fibre in EvoClad™ comes from post-industrial and post-consumer wood waste, not virgin timber from native forests. For projects with responsible sourcing requirements, this matters.
